Childcare Help in Wakefield Council

Wakefield Council recognises that childcare costs can be quite a burden for working parents.
As a result, Wakefield Council has linked with Imagine Co-operative Childcare to introduce a childcare voucher scheme for employees.

The main purpose of this scheme is to offer a benefit to employees which can result in them making savings against the costs of their childcare arrangements and so reduce the financial impact.

The scheme is promoted to new employees through the Council’s induction programme and through regular promotional literature.
